Book an AppointmentHow can couples therapy help?
Couples therapy is a structured, professionally guided process aimed at improving relationship quality. The therapist doesn't make decisions for you – our role is to create a safe space for dialogue and help uncover the roots of blockages.
- Communication difficulties and misunderstandings
- Loss of trust and processing after infidelity
- Recurring conflicts and deadlocked arguments
- Intimacy and closeness difficulties
- Tension around parenthood and children
- Mid-life crisis and growing apart
- Strengthening the relationship – even preventatively
How does the couples therapy process work?
Step by step, at your own pace
First session – getting acquainted
Both partners share their perspective. The therapist stays neutral – no judgment. Together we clarify the goals and the expected process.
Regular sessions – 8–15 sessions
The process generally takes place every two weeks. In each session we work through one topic or pattern – from communication to expectations, from past wounds to future vision.
Home tasks (optional)
Between sessions we sometimes suggest small "experiments" – short, concrete tasks that help bring change into everyday life.
Closure – you decide
Many couples close the process feeling strengthened. Others reach a joint decision about the relationship's future. Both directions are valid – our goal is clarity and balance.
Couples therapy or separation?
Many people come with the question: "Is it worth continuing?" Our role is not to make the decision – but to help you make it. In the couples therapy process both partners are heard, and together you can explore what truly connects you and what pulls you apart.
Often couples who feel stuck are surprised, after a few sessions, at how many resources lie within their relationship. In other cases, therapy helps to reach a joint, dignified closure.
